Line Measurement
The Measure Line tool provides the means to calculate the distance of a line drawn by the user. The line can be straight or have multiple vertexes.
Activate the tool by clicking the icon and click on a spot on the map. Single-click more vertexes along the distance to calculate, and then double-click the location where the line ends.

There is also a unit option to select different units of measure like feet, meters, Imperial and Metric unit selections.

To reset the tool, click on the "New Measurement" bar at the bottom of the results window.
To close the tool, click on the collapse button that the Measure Line icon turned into upon activating: .png)
