Service Description: Contour lines for Greene County NY: 500ft, 100ft, 50ft, 20ft, 10ft, 2ft. These were generated using a 2 meter Digital Elevation Model provided by NYS ITS GIS Program office. http://gis.ny.gov/elevation/metadata/NYS-2-Meter.xml The DEM was focused at a 7x7 cell rectangle neighborhood using the Focal Statistics tool and converted to US Feet. The Contour lines were then extracted from this new DEM to minimize line static and maximzie smoothness while maintaining data accuracy.
